He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. —Psalm 113:9

About

Jean Bauhaus used to get in trouble a lot for daydreaming. These days, she gets paid for it. A small-time writer with big-time aspirations, she keeps her pets in kibble and herself in fancy yarn by dreaming up ways to help people and small businesses put their best foot forward on the web. The rest of the time, she writes. The rest of the rest of the time, she knits while watching too much genre and reality television, and uses the former to justify the latter. A wife and would-be mom, she lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma in a little house with her husband Matt, their awesome chihuahua Pete, and three perpetually disgruntled cats.

Likes: sleep, Fantasy & Science Fiction, the collective works of Joss Whedon, brightly colored wool, iced coffee, Batman, and you. Yes, YOU.

Dislikes: mornings, black coffee, lazy grammar, non-use of turn signals, misuse and abuse of "literally", and everybody else. No, not you. THEM.

Daydream Believer is a sort of blog salad made up of Jean's hopes, dreams, disappointments, failings and successes. From a Christian perspective, she writes about growing older, growing up (or failing to), growing a business, and growing her dreams. One part writing journal to two parts personal growth blog with a rich dressing of pop culture on the side, she covers all of these topics and more (hence, "blog salad") with honesty and a sense of humor.
