He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. —Psalm 113:9

I already feel like I ran a marathon this morning. I had to be here at 7:30 to prep coffee & drink service for today's meeting, though I really should have made it 7:00 because it took me a full hour to get everything together for it. Between this building's funky layout and the less than efficient organization of all of the catering supplies, I think I literally did run a marathon, going from kitchen to closet to other kitchen to conference room to other closet, upstairs, downstairs, wash, rinse, repeat. I guess it turned out to be a good thing that I forgot to re-set my alarm to wake me up earlier this morning. Oversleeping made for a stressful morning, but at least I got a full night's sleep. Today I need all the energy I can get.

I think I'll hoard a stash of catering supplies at my desk so they'll be mostly in one place for the next meeting.

In other news: the invitations are in the mail. Can I get a "hallelujah"?
