Oh Show Me the Way to Go Home...

This day is kicking my hinder. I don't just mean my workload, although that's not helping. There's also allergies, lack of sleep, Girly TMI… I'm really wishing I'd just called in sick this morning and stayed home. I'm beginning to seriously ponder whether I could get away with hiding out in the bathroom all afternoon. I brought my knitting….

Man, y'all, I’m sleepy. I don't know whether it was dry skin or allergies or both, but I couldn't sleep last night for all of the itching and scratching. Matt couldn't sleep either, but his tossing and turning had more to do with nerves and excitement over going back to school today.

Yay school! I think I'm marginally more excited about him being a college boy than he is. Yesterday was technically his first day, being the first day he could sign onto his online course and download the syllabus, but today's his first day of physical classes. I promised him I'd pick up pizza on the way home tonight to celebrate. Yay!

We may be looking for him to join the blogosphere soon—he's been kicking around the idea of doing his own movie blog for a while now (because there are few things he likes to talk about more than movies). What with him taking both a film appreciation course and a writing course this semester, I've just about got him convinced that such a blog would be good practice for both.

As for my own blog(s), I'm having thoughts, and they're beginning to gel into a plan; but right now they're still in the lowly thought stage, so I'll refrain from posting them just yet. Besides, I have a ton of work to do, and it's not going to get done by blogging about blogging any more than it's going to get done by hiding in the bathroom with my knitting, no matter how much I'm tempted to do either.
