So with the new blog, like I said, I hope to eventually (that being 90 days or so from now) get all the ads off of this blog and take it in the direction I originally wanted to go in this year, which is to turn it into some kind of column/journal/writing exercise/sample thingy. That still sounds pretty vague and aimless, doesn't it? Well, "vague and aimless" has pretty much been my blogging style for seven years now, so why narrow the focus now? If it ain't broke...
But seriously. I am thinking about trying to tighten things up a little around here in the future, maybe do some kind of series of weekly essays, and generally start putting some thought into everything I write here. I've got 90 days to come up with a plan and figure out exactly what I want to do, but this is just to let you know that things will not remain as they currently are. So if you hate the ads, just hang in there and know that they will go away relatively soon, or else, y'know, unsubscribe from my feed for the next three months.
