SADD No More

Today is mostly sunny with a high of 41F. It's not exactly spring-like out there, but after a week (yeah, I know, a whole week. Wah!) in a bleak, depressing, gray glacier, I'll take what I can get. I'm definitely going out to get some sunshine on my lunch hour (maybe I'll even go down to Starbucks and splurge on some fattening coffee-flavored liquid sugar), and hoping that this burst of relative warmth will be enough to finally melt the ice off our driveway... just in time for it to be covered up again by snow tomorrow. But at least snow provides traction, so either way there will be no more crawling up the hill to my car on all fours in the morning and sliding down it on my butt in the evenings. Hooray for walking upright!
