There was a state-wide Amber Alert issued this morning for a 10-year-old girl who got nabbed by a stranger in Texhoma. When I signed on to check the weather updates a while ago I saw that her kidnapper was arrested after he stopped for gas in New Mexico and she managed to get out of the car and run inside to report her own kidnapping. She's being returned home unharmed. It's nice when these things end well. That doesn't seem to happen very often.
I'm ten minutes away from being free for the weekend. My big plans include whiling away the snowboundness by getting more stuff ready for eBay, catching up with the TiVo, and reading over my novel-so-far.
