Back in my temping days (lo these many months ago) I spent a four-month stint as a receptionist for a virtual office company. It looked like a pretty good deal then—all the convenience and image-boosting of having an office, complete with your own receptionist, administrative assistant, meeting rooms, et cetera, without any of the overhead costs of leasing your own space or buying your own equipment. If I ever started and expanded my own business, I thought this looked like a pretty good way to go. Advantage Office Suites, based in Pheonix, Arizona, offers the same kind of service, and from what I can tell, they've got their act together. They even go my old company one better by offering a kitchen and lounge area for on-site visitors. Pretty nifty.
