Got Me Some O' Them Bloggin' Blues

As you've probably noticed, I've been in a bit of a creative slump lately when it comes to my blog. A lot of factors are involved, and I'm not going to analyze it too intently, because, y'know, it happens. Blogging ennui comes and goes. I'm sure all of the recent fragmentation isn't helping, though. I don't like having all these different blogs any more than you like feeling a need to keep up with them.

So apart from simply hanging in there and waiting for the blahness to pass, I have a plan, and that plan is this: come payday, I'll sign up for an actual web site, with my own domain and everything, just like I used to have. I've been planning to go back to that for a while now, but I've been waiting until I have things like my own computer and decent web and picture editing software and whatnot. But now I figure, what the 'ell. I might as well get it started. I can worry about making it pretty later.

The web site will have all of the writing stuff, knitting stuff, and any essays, articles or other such writings that take more than 5-10 or so minutes' worth of thought. Meanwhile, this blog will remain, pretty much as is, all random brain spew, worthwhile links and money-grubbing Pay Per Post promotions. So if you like this blog, then you won't have to change your bookmarks or feeds or anything. If you don't, then you'll be able to find all the stuff you DO like elsewhere, ad free. And if you don't like ANY of my stuff, well, then, you're here exactly, um, why?
