The net nanny is doing that weird thing again where it thinks Blogger is a pr0n site. The last time this happened, it fixed itself (or, perchance, somebody more vocal and proactive than myself complained to the right people...me, I'm too chicken to tell anyone in charge "Hey, would you get this fixed so I can blog on company time?"), so I'll just wait for it to get sorted out. Hopefully it won't take long, because I have Valentine chocolates to share.
Meanwhile, I'm posting via Google Docs, even though I didn't really have much to post about until Blogger got blocked. I'm having one of those days where I have a head full of ideas and no idea where to start. I'm a little frustrated over having already wasted almost three hours floundering and flitting between starts and making no real progress on anything. It'll be time to head to the gym soon. Maybe some exercise will settle my brain down so I can have a more productive afternoon.
Oh! But I did want to tell you guys about a new toybox I found. Yesterday I went on another search for a way to add feeds from all of my blogs to the main index page of my new site, and I finally entered the right keywords to bring up exactly what I was looking for. I found tiny blog aggregators and lots of other fun widgets at Widget Box. I'm not going to go nuts with them, so don't worry, although I did spot a couple that might work on some of my other pages.
I'm almost happy with my new homepage. I still have several other pages to set up, but once I have the main design in place for each section, the sub pages shouldn't take that long to set up. So I'm hoping to have the new site ready to launch by next week. Of course, I also have to write content for it, so that might take a little longer. And not being able to sign into Blogger is going to put a pretty serious crimp in my schedule. Clearly, the net nanny needs a spanking of her own.
