I want a stopwatch.

I don't mean a sports stopwatch. I mean one like in that one episode of the '80s Twilight Zone series--or maybe it was Amazing Stories--where the lady had the pocket watch that let her freeze time. Except without any of the impending nuclear missiles. I suppose I could make do with Adam Sandler's universal remote. Or Hiro's superpowers.

That's it. I want to be like Hiro.

The point is that today is flying by, and I can't honestly say that I like it. I want to freeze time for a couple of hours so I can write the essays I wanted to get done today and still get my work done and still be home in time for supper.

Yes. Time manipulation is definitely the mutant power I'd most like to have.
