He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. —Psalm 113:9

Six months!

Around this same time exactly six months ago, I was sitting in a salon chair getting myself a head full of bridal hair and trying to memorize my vows.

I can't believe it's been six months already. It may not be as significant as, say, six years, or even a year; but it's still pretty cool. I'll have more to say about it in the essay blog come Monday, but for now I'll say that if we could make it these six months, then I'm pretty confident we'll make it the next sixty years. Go team us.

It's day two of using ergonomic equipment and going mostly caffeine free, and my hand is seeing definite improvements. It's not totally pain-free yet, but it's better. I guess I'd better continue my moratorium on knitting through the weekend and give it time to rest. Here's hoping it'll be back to normal by Monday.
