He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. —Psalm 113:9

*POUND*

Another day, another round of incessant pounding. Ooh! Ooh! And now there's also drilling! Joy.

I might be ever so slightly less cranky about it if I didn't stay up past my bedtime to watch the Lost finale, but I did, and all I have to say about it is this: now I KNOW they're just screwing with us.

Seriously, wtf?

LOST has me utterly perplexed and screwed up...are the next two seasons going to be about them trying to get back on the island? And whose casket did Jack visit?

And I was not pleased with Charlie's death. I still think he could have survived...it wasn't as sacrificing as it was made out to be. He could have yelled grenade to Desmond and gotten him out or something.

And is the Russian guy freaking invincible? Seriously. Why don't they take the time to make sure someone is totally dead (same goes for Heroes)? I would be cutting off heads people!

Oops, that made me sound slightly psychotic.

I have to say, I didn't understand AT ALL why Charlie shut the door without, y'know, STEPPING THROUGH IT first. There was no reason at all for him to stay in there and drown. Sigh.

The ending totally threw me. I have no idea what they're doing or where they're going with it. I guess maybe Sawyer was in the casket? I have no idea.

I watched "The Answers" before the finale, and one of the producers said something to hint that there's some kind of alternate dimension or wonky space-time stuff going on here. But I don't have the brain power to try to work out any of the possibilities just now, and besides, I'm sure any theories I have will be wrong, because, obviously, they're making it all up as they go, based on the question "What can we do that will be most confusing to the viewers?" It's exhausting to try to keep up.

I'm with you on the head-chopping. It's like in the horror movies when not only do they not make damn sure Jason's not getting back up before they walk away, but they even leave their weapon laying there beside him.

I haven't seen the Heroes finale yet. I'm looking forward to watching it this weekend.
