Ah, yes, every blogger's go-to for days when they're too busy/tired/distracted/lazy to craft a meaningful post: the random list.
So, randomly...
@ If you're going to ComiCon, I don't like you anymore. [/petty jealousy]
@ I have no one to go see Order of the Phoenix with! Woe.
@ I am, however, seeing Spamalot this Saturday. Yay!
@ I still miss Rose. And I still plan to expound on that here.
@ Re: Big Brother 6 - three words: shallow, self-absorbed, idiots. In other words, the usual. This needs no expounding.
@ And yet, I will watch it anyway, and I will love it.
@ Because grown women who have breakdowns in public over not liking their pictures are pure entertainment gold. GOLD, I say!
@ And because I am shallow.
@ The other day, Husband and I had lunch with a friend of his from work and his wife, and they collectively share all of our obsessions. This qualifies them for potential new BFF-dom.
@ ...but it's probably still too soon to ask them to go see Harry Potter with me. Boo.
And that's my list. There will be actual content here tomorrow. Yes, really.

Being half of a newly married couple myself, I understand your need to find a BFF couple. Husband and I are still looking!
And I would go with you to Harry Potter (since husband will most likely take me next week and roll his eyes with lack of understanding of the wonder that is Order of the Phoneix and I would rather see it with someone who actually cares), but alas to us living in different states!
Different states, boo!
My husband has never read one of the books or seen any of the movies, and even if he was willing to take me, I wouldn't want to start him in the middle, in the off chance that some day he'll care.
My friend Tess went to all the others with me, but this time she says she's too broke. Maybe we'll still catch it later when she has more money. I guess I can be patient (boo!).
Ok, so maybe I'm more of a lurker, but *I'm* going to Comic-Con...
Can't we work out this whole you not liking me anymore thing? :-)
I'll say hi to Joss for ya ;-)
Nicole
Have you considered going to the movie alone? Just a thought! I guess Husband (what was his name again?) can't always be relied on for everything, LOL.
Daphne
Nicole - Oh, sure, rub it in. That's not going to make me any less petty or jealous. ;p
Daphne - That's probably what I'll end up doing, although Husband did express a reluctant willingness to accompany me, because he's more bothered by the idea of me going alone than I am. I'll probably still wait a bit, though. I don't want to fight the crowds by myself.
We'd gladly welcome you to our group outing to HP. Of course, it might not be worth it to fly to Toronto and drive to Guelph just to see a movie...
It would have been more fun to see HP with a friend, but I did enjoy myself. Maybe once the crowds die down, you can go, too.
I miss Rose. *sniff*
Garnigal - Dude, I'd totally be willing to fly to Toronto to see the movie with you if I had that kind of cash to spare.
Sunny - I've been to movies by myself before. I haven't done much by myself since I met Matt, but I think I can remember how. Still, by the time the crowds die down Tess might be able to go with me after all. We've seen all the others together, and she's the one who got me into HP in the first place, so I kinda hate to go see it without her.
