Thursday Thirteen #7: Fangirl Edition

Thirteen Fannish Obsessions I've Had Throughout Life, in Chronological Order

1. Star Wars (at four years old, seeing this movie pretty much sealed my geek fate)

2. Freddy Kreuger

3. Star Trek

4. The Vampire Lestat (the anti-Spike!)

5. Batman/The Joker/Harley Quinn (no, not like THAT! Ew. Although I'm sure there's fanfic....)

6. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (Sigh and swoon!)

7. The Phantom of the Opera

8. The X-Files (...movie! Yay!)

9. Gargoyles

10. The Entire Whedonverse

11. Farscape (Swoon and sigh and SOB!)

12. A Song of Ice and Fire

13. Supernatural, Heroes and Dr. Who are all contenders for my newest obsession, but none of them are quite there yet.

Sometimes I wish I had an obsessive personality. It actually sounds like fun...lol.

My geeky family is right there with you on a lot of those, and they are full fledged Heros fans.

Wow I share many of your fannish obsessions! I too started with Star Wars and lately am really into Heroes. Do you like Firefly? And Battle Star Galatacia too?

I share Star Wars, The Joker, and Phantom as past obsessions. Well, Star Wars is still kind of an obsession.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. Hope you'll come back real soon.

It seems we share a few fannish obsessions. I take it you're obsession with everything Whedon is not over yet. That'd be a shame. ;o)
I know what you mean in #13. Supernatural is nice (eye-candy mostly), but not exactly overwhelming, Heroes I feel I should like, but can't really get into it all that much. And Dr. Who I haven't seen yet (but you just gave me a great idea what to download next, so thanks for that!).
I've developed quite an obsession for Battlestar Galactica lately. I must have lived in a cave for the 3 years...how could I ever miss it for so long?

Thanks for your visit to my page. And I hope you find many more headers that you have a use for. This one is actually one of my favs, but I just feel the urge to make some more. :o)

Wow, great response to this one. Let's see...

@nap warden - From what I've read, LOST will be back, but not until January. I suspect they'll run the entire season without any re-runs or breaks.

@brenda nd - Firefly (and Serenity) falls under the Whedonverse category, and yes, I love it so. BSG is another show that never quite reached obsession-status for me (and with only one season to go, I doubt it ever will), although I do enjoy it immensely.

@Bob - You're very welcome. I enjoy your blog. I don't think I'll ever get over my Star Wars obsession, either. I can still be quite the geek about it.

@samulli - I don't think I'll get over the Whedonverse (especially Buffy) any sooner than I'll get over Star Wars. And from what I've seen of you're blog, I suspect you'll adore Doctor Who (and its spinoff, Torchwood--I've only seen one episode of that so far, but I have a feeling it could become a contender, too).

I used to be a big fan of X-Files but all of a sudden my enthusiasm evaporated. Now getting into Dr Who again.
