Bye-bye, Trek collection. You served me well.

Sadly, I put my Star Trek Hallmark ornament collection up for bid on eBay. I remember going to some pretty great lengths to collect all of these, so this one's especially sad for me. But not having them take up space anymore will be a good thing.

The auctions are set to begin tomorrow at 11 AM CST and last for a week. You can check for them here, if you're interested. Kirk, Spock and Bones are already up for bid because I forgot to schedule it to start later and I couldn't go back and change it.

Farewell, last remnants of my rabid Trekker days.

Maybe they didn't like his take on the invisible jet.

Y'know, Wonder Woman was just never a superhero that I could get all that worked up about; yet I was still excited about the movie project for exactly one reason. Now that that reason's no longer on the project, I couldn't care less about it. Warner Brothers must be taking lessons from New Line on how to lose fans and alienate people.

As Joss goes, so goes my nation. Or at least my box office contributions.

ANyway.

I had an entirely pleasant weekend, the kind where the chores-to-laziness ratio weighed heavily on the side of laziness. I even got some writing done, all snuggled in bed beneath a mountain of blankets with my pen and notebook while Matt did homework at the desk. Made a lot of headway reading Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell, too, although I'm still not even halfway through that behemoth. Best yet, I got a lot of sleeping done, and it was good.

We didn't watch the Superbowl, Matt not really caring about either team and being content to check the score when our movie went to a commercial. We did, however, find ourselves completely unable to resist the thrall of Puppy Bowl, and had to keep switching over to that, too. But for the most part we watched The Green Mile, which I'd never seen or read before and which we definitely need to Netflix so that I can see it without all the annoying edited-for-television-ness.

Friday I got all of my eBay auctions posted, but they didn't start until Saturday. If you're interested you can check them out here. The Phantom ornaments seem to be doing as well as I'd hoped. I set a pretty high reserve on them both, because of their sentimental value, but at this rate it looks like both reserves are going to be met. I'm a little sad about that, but I'm more psyched than sad. I have plenty of other Phantom memorabilia left to clutter up my shelves.

Today has been pretty slow so far, but I have a feeling it's going to get busy soon. Our procurement team has fallen so far behind that the boss has asked me to help them, and CAG has mentioned needing help with her workload, and I've already let my filing build up to a couple hours' worth of work. I should really get on top of that before it builds into a whole day's worth. So, busy-ness ho. Later, 'taters.

Let it not be said that I don't have any standards.

Apparently, $10 is not nearly enough to get me to link to a "cosmetic virginity restoration" site. Ew.

In other news, I posted some stuff on eBay. There's Star Wars stuff here, here, and here, and there's a cute (if I do say so myself) handknit purse here.

Alternatively, all four items are finally showing up here.
