Here's a quick and healty wrap recipe I found with an ad for Laughing Cow cheese (reassembled from memory), which is what I'm currently noshing on for lunch. The wrap, that is.
1 whole wheat tortilla (or wrapper of your choice - I'm betting this would be yummy in a sun-dried tomato wrapper)
2 wedges Laughing Cow spreadable Swiss (I use the Lite version)
Honey Mustard
2 slices turkey breast
Green leafy lettuce (I usually use Romaine)
Spread the cheese over the tortilla, then add a thin layer of mustard (on top of that I also added a layer of chopped pecans to fulfill my Zone-friendly fat requirement). Lay out the turkey slices, cover with shreded lettuce, roll it up and go.
Tis yummy, and takes about 5 minutes to put together. I'm having mine with a can of V8 which, along with the nuts, makes it a full Zone meal.
Speaking of the Zone, I haven't weighed myself in months, but my clothes are back to fitting like they did before the holidays, so that's some progress. And I managed that without much in the way of exercise. Go team me!

I forgot to mention earlier that I worked on the novel yesterday. Didn't write a lot -- mostly I spent two hours staring into space mulling over why nothing I've written lately has been working for me. But I figured out that I was trying to force a conversation that should have happened in an earlier scene, so I went back and rewrote the scene to include it, and now things are flowing much more smoothly. I also figured out a new and better opening for my first chapter, and that's good, because I kinda hated my opening. I think once I finish the latest chapter I'm going to go ahead and print it all off and go over what I've got so far to make sure everything is leading in the direction I need it to go, or else to change my direction to suit the story, if necessary. At any rate, I made some progress, which despite writing on it I haven't felt like I've done in a long time. Go team writer me!

I need to go back and rework the concept that I had intended as my Nanowrimo.
I figured out on Nov 25 that it would be much more effective as a short story.
I hate rewrites.
Yech. I especially hate trying to rewrite something from one form into another. You have my sympathies. But if anybody can do it, I'm sure you can.
