I wrote a whole big post about the weekend and getting caught up at work and wedding blather, but it got all et up. Frack.
Oh well. Moving on. I'm so preoccupied with wedding plans today that I can't even think straight. Or rather, I'm preoccupied with my wedding budget. I don't know how I'm going to have a nice wedding for under $3,000. My l'il sis did it, so I know it can be done. Actually, if I subtract the cost of photography, which is one thing I absolutely don't want to skimp on, and the honeymoon, which is largely coming out of the money my mom's laying down for the wedding, that leaves us with about a thousand dollars for the wedding itself, not counting my dress, which is already bought, or the rings, which Matt and I will pay for out of our own pockets. So, a thousand bucks for the actual ceremony and reception. Thankfully, there are enough talented people in my circle of family and friends that I think I can pull it off. It will take a lot of asking for favors, and a lot of craftiness and creativity and just plain hard work, but I'm feeling optimistic. Scared, but mostly optimistic.
Now if I can just convince Matt that he has no opinion about the color scheme....
