They came through on my ergonomic keyboard and trackball. These are going to take some getting used to, but they feel a lot easier on my wrists. If these don't do the trick, I'll see about ordering a wrist brace. And then I'll get a walker and some orthopedic shoes. Just, y'know, in anticipation of the rest of me breaking down.
When I went to the store last night I could hear my mother's voice in my head, lecturing me about the evils of caffeine and how quitting coffee cleared her arthritis right up. I've been known to scoff at such lectures, but come to think of it, I have been overdoing it on the coffee lately, and I think I started drinking one or two cups more than usual a couple of weeks before this pain started. So I stocked up on some tea. I got a box of chocolate caramel chai for the mornings, to switch to after I've had my ONE cup of morning coffee. It's still caffeinated, but it has a lot less caffeine than a cup of drip coffee. To get me through the afternoons I picked up a box of decaf mint green tea. Mint is supposed to boost concentration, and green tea is supposed to boost your metabolism, so maybe the double whammy will keep me awake. Plus, y'know, all those cancer-fighting antioxidents.
Yeah. I miss my coffee already.
