My head feels better, but my hand is killing me. It's been hurting a lot lately. I've been taking a break from knitting to give it a rest, but typing seems to be the true culprit. I just requested an ergonomic keyboard and mouse, so hopefully those will help. I should probably add this to the list of things to bring up when I finally make it to a doctor. It's the wrong side of my hand for it to be carpal tunnel. It starts in my wrist, but shoots up through my pinky, which is looking a bit crooked and making me wonder if I don't have a touch of arthritis.
Now THERE'S a depressing thought. It's not quite up there with MOUTH TUMOR, but nevertheless, it's not a pleasant thing to contemplate. All turning-34 whining aside, it's not like I'm actually old yet....

The repetitive motion of using a mouse seems to irritate my wrist. I use a wrist guard, and that helps. http://www.healiohealth.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&grp=67
Just to give you some idea of what I'm talking about. Mine wasn't nearly as expensive. It has metal supports on the top and bottom of my hand. It helps.
Thanks for the info. I used to have the same trouble back when I worked at Ye Olde Oil Company, and I had a wrist brace at that job. They just delivered on the ergonomic peripherals, so if those don't do the trick I'll see about ordering one.
