One way to avoid caving to vending machine cravings: don't carry any cash or loose change. I'm absolutely jonesing for some Sun Chips right now, but short of begging my cubby neighbors to pitch in and buy me some, there's not a thing I can do about it. I guess that's one side benefit (or curse) to paying for everything with a debit card.
