Memorial day is really two U.S. holidays in one: in addition to being a day to remember fallen friends, loved ones, and those who've laid down their lives for freedom, it's also a celebration of that freedom, of life, and the unofficial start of summer. So remember, but try not to dwell, and have yourselves a safe and happy Memorial Day.
