Everybody's early today, and it's starting to annoy me. We had a client meeting scheduled for 9:30 this morning. I ordered breakfast pastries to be delivered at 9:15. They arrived at 8:45. The conference room wasn't even available yet, so I had to hold onto them at my desk, which, hello temptation! Then fifteen minutes later, the client showed up. I couldn't hold him at my desk (he might eat up all the pastry), so I sent the guy who called the meeting in the first place to go stall him while I made coffee and prepped the room. Everything worked out, and they're in their meeting now, drinking coffee and munching on scones and sticky buns, but now I feel off-kilter. So, grumble.
Here's something you might find useful, if you're a commenter here: Blogger now has the capability to subscribe to a feed for comments. So if you leave a comment and want to be able to track the conversation, just go to the bottom of the individual post page and you'll find a link you can use to "friend" (for those on LiveJournal; that's adding a feed to your aggregator for everyone else) that comment thread. Unfortunately, you can only set it up for one thread at a time, and not for all comments on all posts, which could prove more of a hassle than just checking back to see if anybody replied to you. But the ability is there if you want to use it.
And now I'm going to go get myself some coffee and working on righting my kilter.
